Court Bundling with Lexiti:
Frequently Asked Questions

Bundling FAQs

What is Lexiti’s bundling feature?

Lexiti, Safelink's litigation workspace offering, includes a built-in tool for assembling organised, paginated document bundles. It streamlines the process of collecting files, arranging them into sections, and producing a professional final bundle for any matter that requires structured documentation.

How does the complimentary bundle offer work?

All new users can produce a bundle at no charge. If your team needs to create bundles at higher volumes, you can upgrade to a paid plan whenever you’re ready.

Which file formats can I upload?

Any type of file can be uploaded and downloaded across our platform, subject to permissions and malware checks. The built-in document viewer can handle PDF, DOCX, DOC, XLSX, XLS, CSV, PPTX, PPT, MSG, EML, HTML, TIFF, JPEG, PNG, and DCM (medical images). Additionally, PST and ZIP archives can be uploaded and unpacked within workspaces.

Can I customise the way my bundle looks?

Yes, you can customise the appearance of your bundles within the platform. Users can adjust the bundle name, add a cover page, adjust the appearance of the index, and configure the formatting of your documents, such as font styles, colours, and layouts.

How can I be sure my bundled documents are secure within the system?

Security has been central to Safelink since day one. From the start, we implemented advanced key management and have continually evolved to stay ahead of security threats. Safelink is fully compliant and holds top-tier security certifications, including the globally recognised ISO 27001. We provide robust, multi-layered security configurations and undergo regular independent audits to ensure your data remains safeguarded at the highest level of protection.

What support is available if I need help?

Lexiti offers in-platform guidance, help articles and responsive support from the team if you have questions at any point during the bundling process.

Building Chronologies in Lexiti

How do I start a chronology in Lexiti?

Create or open a free Lexiti workspace, upload your documents, and Lexiti will extract the events needed to form your case timeline automatically. You can then refine, reorder, and filter the timeline as your matter develops.

Can I filter chronologies by people, entities, dates, or topics?

The standalone Chronologica trial has been retired. Chronology-building is now included within Lexiti, where you can access the same tools with no time limits and no additional cost.

How do I cross-reference timeline events to their source documents?

Every event in your timeline includes a direct link back to the original document passage. You can preview the surrounding context or open the full document instantly.

Can my team collaborate on a timeline?

Yes. Lexiti supports secure, multi-user collaboration on shared timelines with role-based permissions, version control, and a full audit trail.

Can I export my timeline?

Yes. You can export your timeline as table with an appendix-ready index in PDF, Word or Excel — the same formats previously available in Chronologica.
